The painting was commissioned by the Charleston Visitor’s Bureau for the cover of the 2018 Official Visitors Guide to Charleston. In the artist’s own words, “This painting is an expression of how I view the harmony of colors Charleston’s architecture and its enchanting and accepting atmosphere”.
