As Visual Designer of the 2016 Spoleto USA production of Porgy & Bess, artist Jonathan Green takes us on a journey that reveals the roots, strength and character of the Gullah community.  Green’s colorful costume sketches blend a 20’s glamour with a West African vibrancy and provide the visual inspiration for this Charleston classic by DuBose Hayward.
